directadmin.jpgAll the sites run on a German dedicated server, for 40 euro a month (including this site).Advantage of a dedicated server is that we have no problems in band with, because our host doesn’t ask for extra money if we get extra visitors. Not that we expect a lot of visitors, since we are The Long Tailers. On the dedicated server, we user DirectAdmin as a simple , graphical package to quickly bring the first 14 websites live. With Installatron, we install 14 copies of Wordpress in just 20 minutes.The them of this site is called Revolution and altered to our own taste. Setting up this site and the 14 others, including buying the domain names, forwarding them to the dedicated server, installing 14 websites plus this one and installing WordPress took us one day.

    This one took most of the time, the 14 others will be filled by the students.
